Brilliant Google Review Strategy

I just learned this at the SparkTogether conference

I learned of a brilliant review strategy from Jon Pippert when I was at the SparkTogether conference.

He says that instead of dedicating most of your marketing budget on ads, you should invest it in your employees in the form of review incentives.

While it’s against Google’s guidelines to incentivize your customers for reviews, rewarding your employees for requesting and receiving reviews is totally by the book.

This is a much more effective marketing strategy than buying Google ads because:

  • More Google reviews will give you higher local rankings and leave a lasting impact on your local SEO.

  • Motivating your employees will result in better service for your customers.

  • Your money will mean more when it’s put towards your team, not a Fortune 100 company.
