How We Got a 48% Increase in Keyword Rankings and Why You Shouldn't Ignore 3rd Party Reviews

1. How 3rd party reviews can increase your leads

There are huge benefits to getting reviews on Yellowpages, Tripadvisor, BBB, etc, but most people are ignoring these sites. Swipe through this carousel to learn why 👇️

2. New name + new address = new rankings?

This is probably the most exciting episode of the Get Ranked on Google Maps series so far.

I try to convince Anne to change her business name. I don't want to spoil anything, so head over to YouTube to watch the video 🏃

3. Should realtors register their GBP at the brokerage or at their home address?

Google has a filter on local results where multiple businesses at the same address with the same primary category will get filtered out. Only 1 is likely to rank well.

It's always better if realtors can break out of the filter by using their home address and not showing the address on Google. This is especially valuable if they live in the same area that they tend to work in.

🔥 Bonus tip: If you already have your GBP verified at the brokerage office and are not ranking, try dragging your map pin 200 feet away from the brokerage office. This can help you break out of the filter.

4. What happens when you fully optimize your GBP?

How about a 48% increase in keyword progress and a 17% increase in your visibility score?

Those are the numbers we got for our client since they signed up with us in May 2023.

We achieved this by:

  1. Completely transforming and fully optimizing their Google Business Profile (adding the correct categories, filling out their Q&A section, Products, Services, etc);

  2. Posting consistent and frequent content updates to their Profile (Google Posts, Photos, Videos, etc).

This perfectly demonstrates the power of a well-optimized Google Business Profile!
