Steal My GBP Checklist

+ important Darren updates

Hi there!

Here’s your weekly dose of local SEO stuff πŸ‘‡οΈ

1. Steal this list of regular GBP tasks that we do for our clients

  1. Post Google Updates Weekly: Share Google Posts to keep your Profile active and engaging. Create them to be more like ads, NOT social posts.

  2. Add New Photos Weekly: Upload fresh photos regularly, as they can boost both your rankings and conversions.

  3. Add new Q&A Weekly: We are always developing new Q&A for our clients and upload them 1 per week to their GBPs.

  4. Upload Videos Regularly: Share videos whenever possible to enhance engagement and visibility.

  5. Manage Reviews Regularly: Respond to reviews as they come in to show engagement and improve customer trust.

  6. Update Services Section Monthly: Review your services monthly and make updates to reflect any changes and stay relevant in search results.

  7. Monthly Profile Check-Up: Review your Profile monthly, especially to see if Google has added new categories or attributes. Adding new, relevant categories/attributes can help improve your rankings.

If this sounds like too much work, we have a team that can do all of these tasks (and more) for you πŸ‘‡οΈ

2. Everything you need to know about GBP Justifications

What are they? Why would you want them? How do you get them?

I answer all of these questions in this carousel πŸ‘‡οΈ

And a bonus tip ⬇️

Add emojis to your service titles. They'll help your listing stand out and draw more clicks when you get the "Provides" justification:

  • Provides πŸš— car accident lawyer

  • Provides πŸ’‡πŸ»β€β™€οΈ haircuts

  • Provides 🚴🏻 bicycle repair

See the LinkedIn carousel here.

3. Do Google Posts impact rankings?

Google Posts are not a direct ranking factor, but they can help your rankings indirectly.

Scroll through this carousel to learn how πŸ‘‡οΈ

See the carousel here.

4. What NOT to do with your GBP Q&A

Here's how NOT to fill out the Q&A section of your Google Business Profile πŸ‘‡οΈ

5. Some news about my socials

You can now get all my Local SEO content on Instagram and Threads too. I tend to post different things on the different channels, so be sure to follow me on all the places.

I’m thinking of creating a Facebook account too, but is anyone still there? Do they want my local SEO tips on Facebook, or do they only want photos of cats and babies? Let me know!
