Eh, I’ll just tell you: we used one of the most underrated local ranking factors in 2025 — review recency. This client hadn’t received a review in over a year. We did some outreach, 3 new reviews came in, and BOOM - check out that ranking impact.

In the 2023 Local Search Ranking Factors survey, review recency ranks as the #20th most valuable local ranking factor.

However, I think Google has cranked the dial on this factor in 2025, so I’d put it in my top 5 most important ranking factors right now.
